Ia este o bluză, componentă a costumului tradițional românesc, purtată de femei. Este confecționată din pânză albă de bumbac, in sau borangic (material țesut din mătase). Este împodobită cu broderie în motive populare românești mai ales la mâneci, pe piept și la gât. Unele ii sunt împodobite și cu mărgele sau paiete.
Elementele de bază în compoziția iei sunt umărul (cusătura ce unește mâneca de părțile din față și spate ale iei), încrețul, altița (bandă lată, bogat decorată pe mânecă care este elementul definitoriu al modelului și care nu se repetă în nici o altă parte a iei), râurile (benzi drepte sau oblice pe piept și mâneci) și bibilurile sau cheițele (cusături de îmbinare a bucăților de material).

POVESTEA SPIRALEI
spirala este energia! Energia regenerativa, miscarea universala, care se gaseste si in om.
Pentru bogatia folosirii spiralelor, cultura Cucuteni va ramane unica.
Spirala plana, cu volute multiple, imperecheate si imbratisate in lant, a fost adaptata de femeile din cultura Vadastra pentru a putea fi cusuta pe reteaua firelor si fibrelor textile. Astfel liniile curbe s-au transformat catre spirale unghiulare. Zeita Pasare era si ea impodobita cu aceste spirale unghiulare.
Mai apoi, din spirale, au derivat si alte semne mistice vitale: "S"-urile, compuse din 2 volute opuse si "coarnele berbecului, compuse din 2 volute in oglinda.

Din dorinta de a se apropia de Soare, omul a imaginat coloana.




Acum vre-o 10 000 de ani, oamenii au imaginat semnul "S" ca semn dual. "S"-ul s-a dublat sau s-a triplat si a format rozeta solara, Soarele fiind erou principal in fenomenul Universal al miscarii.

Aria cultului solar s-a suprapus, fireste, pe spatiul geografic al primilor agricultori.
Semnele dedicate Soarelui si Cerului, adica linii curbe, cercuri, spirale si semnele dedicate Pamantului, adica romburi, hasuri, unghiuri – s-au desenat la fel, ca si cum ar fi fost facut de aceeasi mana, si in Carpati si in Mexic, in India, in China si in Anatolia sau Caucaz.

Mai apoi, miscarile tribale au stricat linistea ancestrala si marele spatiu solar s-a spart si a ramas divizat in mai multe centre; cel din Carpati fiind singurul ramas in Europa veche.

Telocitele, celebrele celule descoperite de cercetatorii de la Institutul National de Patologie "Victor Babes" ar putea fi capabile sa asigure diferentierea celulelor stem in anumite celule tintite, pentru vindecarea unor afectiuni.
Mai exact, in prezent echipa de cercetatori condusa de catre acad. dr. Laurentiu Mircea Popescu, studiaza acest tandem telocite-celule stem. Este un pas extrem de important in medicina regenerarii.
“Schimbul bidirectional de informatii moleculare dintre telocite si celulele stem este esential (diverse tiupuri de ARN, VEGF, citokine, n. red.). Tandemul telocite-celule stem poate fi descris in termeni cei mai simpli: celulele stem sunt autovehiculele, iar telocitele asigura strazile", a declarat acad. L.M. Popescu.
Mesajul transmis de catre echipa de cercetatori de la "Victor Babes" este ca telocitele pot ghida celulele stem: “Incercarile experimentale de a regenera anumite tesuturi prin folosirea numai a celulelor stem a esuat pana in prezent. Ipoteza noastra este ca telocitele pot ghida celulele stem in tesutul afectat si le pot stimula si controla diferentierea in celulele noi, functionale. In momentul de fata desfasuram un studiu experimental, pe animale de laborator”, a explicat dr. Bogdan O. Popescu, diectorul stiintific al Institutului.

Acad. L.M. Popescu, a prezentat, in premiera, un filmulet (http://www.paginamedicala.ro/video/Telocitele---decoperite-de-romani_-dar-de-interes-pentru-straini_872/) in care era demonstrata clar aceasta legatura intre telocite si celulele stem. Potrivit specialistului, telocitul are de transmis foarte multe informatii celorlalte celule. Informatiile acestea sunt stocate in prelungirile telocitului, numite telopod.
"Cu ajutorul unor vezicule de transport, moleculele sunt transportate dinspre telocite catre alte celule. Iata cum veziculul de transport se indreapta spre aceasta celula stem si iata telopodele cum inconjoara aceasta celula", a explicat acad. L.M. Popescu pe imaginile din film, adaugand ca daca ar fi un telocit ar trimite "o prelungire pana pe malul Dambovitei".

Interesul cercetatorilor de peste hotarele Romaniei pentru descoperirea oamenilor de stiinta de la "Victor Babes" creste pe zi ce trece. Echipa condusa de acad. L.M. Popescu este frecvent chemata in tari precum Israel, Noua Zeelanda si altele pentru a vorbi despre celebrele telocite.
"Nu putem face fata acestei cereri de piata. Cererea se rezuma la intrebarea - Ce sunt si la ce sunt bune telocitele? Noi nu le vindem nimic, noi le dam doar idei", a explicat academicianul, adaugand ca spre deosebire de alte tari, Romania manifesta un interes extrem de scazut fata de aceste celule.
Dar, se arata totusi si la noi in tara o speranta. Ea vine din partea primei banci de celule stem din Romania, care va acorda sprijin financiar pentru cercetarea tandemului telocite-celule stem.
"Parteneriatul presupune sustinerea, inclusiv din punct de vedere financiar, a unor proiecte pe care Institutul le va avea in cursul acestui an. Presupune atat schimburi de experienta cu centrele importante din toata lumea, cat si sustinerea achizitionarii unor aparate. Practic, semnam un parteneriat de principiu, prin care ne angajam sa cofinantam un proiect de cercetare extraordinar cum este aceasta al dl. acad. L.M. Popescu", a declarat pentru PaginaMedicala.ro, dr. Tudor Panu, managerul Cord Blood Center.
Scopul colaborarii este acela de a sustine cercetarea telocitelor pentru realizarea unor pasi importanti care vor avea ca punct final salvarea multor vieti.
"Este foarte clar, si aici il citez pe fostul decan al Facultatii de Medicina de la Harvard, ca "celulele stem vor fi ceea ce au fost antibioticele pentru bolile infectioase in trecut", a precizat dr. Tudor Panu.

Romanian researchers have discovered a type of cell that could promote regeneration of heart’s muscle affected by heart attack. “Victor Babes” Institute specialists have discovered by chance, while they were doing studies on cells in the intestine, the presence of some very small cells which help regenerate the organs. It is important to mention that they are not stem cells and they have given these cell a new name: “telocites/telocytes“. According to the doctors, heart’s ability to regenerate until the age of 25 years is by about 1% per year, and for the elder by 0.5% per year. “If we manage to isolate the telocites, to multiply them together with the stem cells, we can use them effectively to treat heart attacks” said Professor Laurentiu Popescu. Analyzing these cells, researchers came to a very important conclusion, that both heart and brain have the power of regeneration. It is the biggest discovery of Romanian medicine, after the Second World War. Telocites have been recognized even by the USA. Only the Romanian government did not seem interested in this discovery that could save thousands, as they said the won’t invest anything in this breakthrough due to incapacity and disbelief (lack of money they say). Now, the cells are already used by the Chinese who seemed much more interested in this cutting edge discovery. Preocupările noastre cotidiene din dimensiunea fizică sau din cea mentală ne limitează mult percepția în ceea ce privește armonia construcției Universului ce există de la nivel de microcosmos până la nivelul macrocosmosului. La prima vedere Universul pare a avea o structură haotică și este destul de greu de surprins dovezi ale design-ului său inteligent. Și totuși, de-a lungul istoriei, mulți oameni au bănuit că nu poate fi chiar totul la întâmplare sau mai mult, că nu poate fi nimic la întâmplare.
Dintre aceștia, în 1975, matematicianul Benoît Mandelbrot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benoit_Mandelbrot) a pus bazele geometriei fractale (http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal), deschizând astfel o poartă către o dimensiune minunată a Universului, dimensiune care de atunci este studiată intens pentru numeroasele aplicații ale acesteia în diverse domenii ale vieții.
Dacă ar fi să îi fac cea mai scurtă descriere aș spune despre dimensiunea fractală (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal_geometry) a Universului că este ordinea din aparenta dezordine pe care o vedem în jurul nostru dar cred că este mult mai mult de atât.
Un documentar care încântă nu doar privirea și mintea dar în aceeași măsură și sufletul și care ne întroduce în minunata lume a fractalilor este filmul cu titlul "Fractalii - Vânătoarea dimensiunii ascunse". Nu vă mai spun decât că veți fi uimiți de numeroasele aplicații ale acestora.

Va propun urmatorul exercitiu de imaginatie: Brancusi nu a existat.
a) comparati siluetele feminine (Cucuteni – din cartea D-lui V. Vasilescu) cu cele care apar, dupa cca 5000 de ani, pe stergare moldovenesti. Ce vedem in dantela sunt coloane infinite de femei, generatii, una dupa alta: bunica – mama – fiica – tot asa ... Pana de curand am crezut ca oamenii au imaginat coloana dupa fulger, ca fiind un fel de 'scarita' necesara pentru comunicarea cu Cerul. Pe-o parte ajung rugaciunile la cer si pe-o parte vin raspunsurile. Acuma vad coloana ca fiind exclusiv rugaciunea omului pentru propria existenta.

Un incredibil fulger “sacru” artificial de 1.7 milioane de volti creaza miracole! Pentru grecii vechi, fulgerul insemna ca Zeus, stapanul Cerurilor, era manios si suparat. Zeul obisnuia sa arunce fulgere terifiante, ca niste sulite de foc. Aceasta era pentru antici, “o lumina sacra”. Intr-un laborator de langa Chicago, Illinois, un inginer electrician pensionar, Bert Hickman, foloseste un accelerator de particule din plastic acrilic pentru a imortaliza “mania lui Zeus” . Hickman. Figurile Lichtenberg prezinta modele ce sunt asemenatoare la diverse scari de marire. Aceasta proprietate sugereaza ca figurile Lichtenberg pot fi descrise matematic printr-o ramura a matematicii numita Geometrie fractala, deorece aceasta similaritate este o proprietate de baza a fractalilor. Mi ha sempre affascinato tutto ciò che è circolare. E tra tutto ciò che è circolare mi attraggono particolarmente tutte quelle figure che mostrano delle simmetrie radiali (http://dm.unife.it/matematicainsieme/simmetrie/approf016.htm), dei disegni simmetrici rispetto a tre, quattro, cinque, sei o più raggi.
Gli esempi più noti ci vengono dalla natura: cosa sono i fiocchi di neve (http://www.its.caltech.edu/%7Eatomic/snowcrystals/class/class.htm) se non delle costruzioni straordinarie a simmetria radiale?

L’uomo ha preso spunto dagli organismi a simmetria radiale fin dai tempi più antichi. All’epoca romana risalgono alcuni esempi di pavimenti musivi con geometrie raggiate particolarmente complesse come negli esempi sottostanti di Saragozza e Leptis Magna.

Tuttavia uno dei momenti di massimo splendore delle simmetrie radiali si deve all’arte araba. Il divieto di rappresentare figure sacre ha portato la cultura figurativa islamica ad orientarsi verso i pattern geometrici (http://patterninislamicart.com) con esempi in opus sectile dagli incredibili intrecci.

A partire dal basso Medioevo si può osservare un’altra manifestazione artistica legata alle simmetrie radiali: i pavimenti cosmateschi (http://matematica-old.unibocconi.it/tassellatura1/cosmati.htm). Si tratta di distese marmoree in opus sectile con intrecci basati su geometrie di cerchi e quadrati presenti in tantissime chiese italiane.

Sempre al basso Medioevo appartengono i rosoni, esempi “da manuale” di simmetria radiale, vere e proprie opere d’arte cariche di simboli e di affascinante bellezza.

Nelle manifestazioni artistiche contemporanee si continuano a trovare eccezionali esempi di simmetrie radiali composti da qualsiasi materiale e su qualsiasi supporto.
Simili a vetrate gotiche sono le grandissime composizioni di ali di farfalla di Damien Hirst (http://www.damienhirst.com). Al di là delle polemiche sull’artista che le ha create e sull’uso di parti di animali, si tratta di lavori molto interessanti dal punto di vista delle complesse geometrie sottese.

Una versione digitale del caleidoscopio (http://www.zefrank.com/dtoy_vs_byokal/index.html) consente di disegnare delle immagini casuali ed osservare come queste diventino simmetriche se osservate da un caleidoscopio virtuale.

In realtà i mandala sono qualcosa di ben diverso: sono disegni con geometrie raggiate basate sul cerchio e sul quadrato con funzione rituale e spirituale, utilizzati dal Buddhismo e dall’Hinduismo.

Una variante dei Mandala sono i kolam, disegni fatti davanti all’ingresso di casa dalle donne indiane con funzione benaugurale.

Sia i mandala che i kolam possono essere disegnati partendo da incroci di cerchi e quadrati (http://www.universitadelledonne.it/frattali.htm) e poi colorati liberamente. È un esercizio molto adatto ai più piccoli (http://tabatacurti.wordpress.com/2012/12/08/la-geometria-dei-mandala/) che possono avere, così, un primo approccio con la geometria e l’armonia di forme e colori che prescinda dalla rappresentazione figurativa.

Occorre sottolineare, comunque, che le figure ottenute con lo spirografo non sono dei semplici disegnini bensì strutture che seguono delle precise formule matematiche (http://www.digitanto.it/mc-online/PDF/Articoli/206_160_163_0.pdf). Dunque, in qualche modo, sono adatte anche a studenti delle scuole superiori.
Volendo, invece, lavorare a mano libera, senza l’aiuto delle rotelline, si possono realizzare gli zendala (http://www.didatticarte.it/Blog/?p=261), geometrie centrali simili ai mandala riempite con texture definite zentangle.

Faimosul Sir al lui Fibonacci a captivat matematicienii, artistii, designerii si savantii timp de secole. Cunoscut si ca Proportia de Aur, raspandirea sa pretutindeni si uimitoarea sa functionalitate in natura ii sugereaza importanta ca o caracteristica fundamentala a Universului.
Sirul lui Fibonacci incepe astfel: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 si continua asa la nesfarsit. Fiecare numar al secventei este suma celor doua numere care il preced. Este un model simplu, dar pare sa fie un fel de sistem de numerotare incastrat in structura cosmosului. Aici sunt 15 uimitoare exemple de „phi”(litera greceasca desemnand Proportia de Aur) in natura.
Leonardo Fibonacci a decoperit acest sir pe cand calcula expansiunea ideala a perechilor de iepuri in decursul unui an. Astazi modelele si proportiile ei emergente(phi=1,61803…) pot fi vazute de la micro-scara pana la macro-scara, si printre sistemele biologice si obiectele neinsufletite. Desi Proportia de Aur nu explica orice structura sau model din univers, este cu siguranta un jucator major. Aici sunt cateva exemple.

Numarul petalelor la o floare urmeaza consistent Sirul lui Fibonacci. Exemple faimoase includ crinul, care are trei petale, piciorul-cocosului, care are cinci, cicoarea cu 21, margareta cu 34, si asa mai departe.phi apare in petale datorita aranjamentului ideal de impachetare, asa cum este selectat de procesele darwiniene; fiecare petala este plasata la 0,618034 din circumferinta (dintr-un cerc de 360°), permitand cea mai buna expunere la lumina soarelui si la alti factori.
2. Capetele (maciuliile) cu seminte
Capatul unei flori este supus si el proceselor fibonacciene. In mod tipic, semintele sunt produse in centrul florii si apoi migreaza catre exterior, pentru a umple tot spatiul. Floarea-soarelui furnizeaza un exemplu excelent al acestor modele spiralate.
In unele cazuri, capetele cu seminte sunt atat de strans inghesuite, incat numarul total poate fi destul de mare – pana la 144 si chiar mai mare. Si cand aceste spirale sunt numarate, totalul tinde sa se potriveasca unui numar Fibonacci. Interesant, un numar puternic irational este necesar pentru a optimiza umplerea unui spatiu (adica un numar care nu este bine reprezentat printr-o fractie). phi se potriveste destul de bine sarcinii.

In mod similar, semintele de pe un con sunt aranjate intr-un tipar in spirala. Fiecare con consta intr-o pereche de spirale, fiecare rasucindu-se spre in sus si in directii opuse. Numarul de pasi se va potrivi aproape intotdeauna unei perechi de numere Fibonacci consecutive. De exemplu, un con 3-5 este unul pe care spiralele se vor reintalni in spate dupa trei pasi pe spirala stanga si 5 pasi pe cea dreapta.


4. Fructe si legume
La fel, modele spiralate similare pot fi gasite pe ananas si conopida.

Sirul lui Fibonacci mai poate fi vazut in modul in care se formeaza sau se ramifica ramurile copacilor. Un trunchi principal va creste pana produce o ramura, care creeaza doua puncte de crestere. Apoi, una dintre noile tulpini se va ramifica in doua, in timp ce cealalta ramane latenta. Acest model de ramificare este repetat pentru fiecare dintre noile tulpini. Un bun exemplu este coada-soricelului (Achillea ptarmica). Sistemele radacinilor si chiar si algele prezinta acest model.

6. Cochiliile

Proprietatile unice ale Dreptunghiului de Aur ofera inca un exemplu. Aceasta forma, un dreptunghi in care raportul laturilor A/B ese egal cu proportia de aur (phi), poate avea ca rezultat un proces de cuibarire care poate fi repetat la infinit – si care ia forma unei spirale. Mai poate fi vazuta si la coarnele anumitor specii de capra si la forma unor panze de paianjen.

Nu este surprinzator ca galaxiile spirale urmeaza si ele modelul familiar Fibonacci. Calea Lactee are cateva brate spirale, fiecare dintre ele fiind o spirala logaritmica de circa 12 grade. Ca o remarca secundara interesanta, galaxiile spirale par sa sfideze legile fizicii newtoniene. Inca din 1925, astronomii au realizat ca, intrucat viteza unghiulara de rotatie a discului galactic variaza cu distanta fata de centru, bratele radiale ar trebui sa devina curbate, pe masura ce galaxia se roteste. Ulterior, dupa cateva rotatii, bratele spirale ar trebui sa se infasoare in jurul unei galaxii. Dar ele nu o fac – de aici asa-numita problema a infasurarii. Stelele din exterior, se pare, se misca cu o viteza mai mare decat era de asteptat – o trasatura unica a cosmosului, care ii permite sa isi retina forma.

8. Uraganele

Fetele, atat cele umane, cat si cele non-umane, abunda de exemple ale Proportiei de Aur. Gura si nasul sunt fiecare pozitionate la sectiuni de aur ale distantei dintre ochi si capatul de jos al barbiei. Proportii similare pot fi vazute din lateral, si chiar insasi in ceea ce priveste ochiul si urechea (ce urmeaza de-a lungul unei spirale). Este demn de notat ca fiecare corp al unei persoane este diferit, dar ca mediile prin sectiunea statistica a unei populatii tind catre „phi”. S-a mai spus si ca, cu cat mai strans adera proportiile noastre la „phi”, cu atat mai „atractive” sunt percepute acele tasaturi. Ca un exemplu, cele mai „frumoase” zambete sunt cele in care incisivii centrali sunt cu 1,618 mai lati decat incisivii laterali, care sunt cu 1,618 mai lati decat caninii, si asa mai departe. Este destul de posibil ca, dintr-o perspectiva evolutiv-psihica, sa fim pregatiti sa ne placa formele fizice care adera la proportia de aur – un potential indicator al unei bune forme fizice si capacitati de reproducere.
10. Degetele
Privind la lungimea degetelor, fiecare sectiune – de la varfuri pana la incheietura – este mai mare decat cea precedenta cu aproximativ proportia „phi”.

De exemplu, masurile de la ombilic pana la podea si din varful capului pana la ombilic au intre ele proportia de aur. Corpurile animalelor prezinta tendinte similare, inclusiv delfinii(ochii, aripioarele si coada se incadreaza, ca proportii intre ele, ca Sectiuni de Aur), stelele de mare, aricii de mare, furnicile si albinele.
12. Dinamicile reproductive
Vorbind de albine, ele urmeaza Sirul lui Fibonacci in alte moduri interesante. Cel mai profund exemplu este cel al impartirii numarului de femele dintr-o colonie la numarul masculilor(femelele intotdeauna depasesc numeric masculii). Raspunsul este tipic ceva foarte apropiat de 1,618. In plus, arborele genealogic al albinelor urmeaza si el acelasi model familiar. Masculii au un parinte (o femela), in timp ce femelele au doi parinti (o femela si un mascul). Deci cand se ajunge la arborele genealogic, masculii au 2, 3, 5 si 8 bunici, strabunici, stra-strabunici, respectiv stra-stra-stra…….strabunici. Urmand acelasi model, femelele au 2,3,5,8,13 si asa mai departe. Dupa cum s-a notat, fiziologia albinei urmeaza si ea destul de strans Curba de Aur (spirala logaritmica).
13. Modelele de lupta ale animalelor
Cand un soim se apropie de prada, vederea cea mai buna este dintr-un anumit unghi al directiei de zbor – un unghi care este la fel ca cel al pasului spiralei.
14. Uterul

In decursul ultimelor cateva luni, el a masurat uterele a 5 000 de femei, utilizand ultrasunete, si a realizat un tabel al rapoartelor medii ale lungimii si latimii pentru diferite sectoare de varsta.
Datele arata ca acest raport este circa 2 la nastere si apoi se micsoreaza constant de-a lungul vietii unei femei pana la 1,46, cand aceasta este batrana.
Dr. Verguts a fost entuziasmat sa descopere ca atunci cand femeile sunt la perioada de maxima fertilitate, intre 16 si 20 de ani, raportul lungime/latime al uterului este 1,6 – o foarte buna aproximare a proportiei de aur. „Aceasta este pentru prima oara cand cineva a investigat acest lucru, asa ca sunt multumit ca a iesit asa de bine”, a spus el.
15. Moleculele ADN
Chiar si domeniul microscopic nu este imun la Fibonacci. Moleculele de ADN masoara 34 de angstromi lungime si 21 latime pentru fiecare ciclu complet al dublei lor spirale. Aceste numere, 34 si 21, sunt numere din Sirul lui Fibonacci si raportul lor este 1,6190476, aproximand destul de strans phi = 1,6180339.
